The Property Today
This is the property as it stands right now — not a rendering. We're bringing it back to life one building at a time, and we're not there yet.

Removing Dangerous and Rotted Trees
We had to remove a couple of trees that were posing a danger. One was rotten inside, while the other was a "leaner" and leaning toward one of the casitas. We are planning to bring in and plant Moringa and other trees with significant beneficial health qualities throughout the property.

The buildings, pool, and pathways below are already here on the property. These renderings show our plans for them — from bungalow and pool rehab to the plantings that will line the walking paths — as funding allows, alongside the real, un-restored building, pool, or path each one starts from.

Original bungalows on the property need a full restoration — roof, deck, wiring, and plumbing — before they're guest- or Veteran-ready.

Panels to cut the property's reliance on diesel generators and bring down its long-term operating cost.

Batteries to store that solar power, so the property has reliable electricity day and night.

Water Catchment
A rainwater catchment and filtration system, so the property can supply its own clean water on-site.

Panga Boat
A small, sturdy open boat for the everyday runs to and from the retreat — bringing guests, Veterans, staff, and supplies across the water to a remote site that's only practical to reach by boat.

The Plaza of Honor
A permanent memorial flag plaza planned for the retreat, overlooking the Caribbean — future home of American Legion Post PC-01. Every engraved brick, sponsored pole, and bronze pillar plaque honors those who served — and funds its construction.
